Coronavirus update

Following the reports surrounding the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we respond appropriately in accordance with the advice and guidelines of the RIVM, to limit the spread of the virus as much as possible.

Eefje Voogd brokerage remains open until further notice in accordance with our normal opening hours. We keep a close eye on the developments and adapt our policy to current events. Our primary concern is everyone’s health and safety.

Our new measures also have consequences for staffing at our office. This means that our employees work from home as much as possible and that there is therefore minimal occupancy in the office. Of course, we will try our best to maintain our service level as you have come to expect from us. We rely on your understanding that the response time to questions and requests may take a little longer than usual.

What measures does Eefje Voogd brokerage take?

Internally we have taken the necessary hygiene measures to prevent the spread of the virus and we expect the same from our clients.

• We do not shake hands at an introduction. This is in no way meant as rude, but purely as a precaution (in accordance with the guidelines of the RIVM).
• We appreciate keeping an appropriate distance.
• We wash and disinfect our hands regularly.

As always, we will  provide the best service and give our best effort during the entire sale or rental process. However, now only with a little more distance between each other.

What effect does this have on my appointments?

Purchase (- / contracting) agreements and rental agreements
We would like – if possible – to keep our meetings at the office for new purchase (- / contracting or rental) agreements and thereby try to prevent the spread of the corona virus as much as we can.

We kindly request you to observe the following rules:
• We request that you visit with as few people as possible, one person per party. So do not take “others” with you, such as friends, family or children.
• During the meeting we keep as much distance from each other as possible.

There is also sometimes the option of having the purchase (- / building and rental) contracts signed “remotely”. We will make an appointment with you by telephone to go through the contract documents extensively and then sign the contract digitally.

New development meetings
We would like to offer appointments at the office for the purchase of new development whenever  possible. In order to do so, we request that you to come with a maximum of two persons. It is also possible to have the appointment by telephone or digitally via Skype or Facetime.

Notary transfer with existing construction
The broker will attend the inspection round with you and will usually accompany you with a notary appointment. Unless the given notary has guidelines where physical presence is not possible.

All appointments and agreements that have yet to be made will be planned and take place in exactly the same way.

Given the overheated housing market, we receive many viewing requests for our homes. Therefore, in connection with the guidelines for preventing the gathering of groups of people, we request you to strictly adhere to the agreed time.

We kindly ask you not to touch you anything (light switches, faucets etc,) while viewing the property.

Our policy has always been aimed at scheduling viewings individually as much as possible. We will of course continue to do so, but we request you to visit alone or with your partner.

In addition, we are offering the possibility of an online video viewing. Kindly request your viewing appointment with one of our agents and/or view the video.

It is not possible to purchase a property unseen. You must have viewed the property physically.

Purchase viewings
You will go alone the 1st time. Only with further interest, we will accompany you or the broker will look independently.

Our brokers no longer shake hands on arrival and departure and keep an appropriate distance (at least 1.5 meters).

In addition, we request  that you – like our employees – strictly adhere to the guidelines set by the national government. Should you have an appointment with us, but feel, for example, cold or feverish please inform us by telephone, or email and cancel the appointment.  Preferably stay at home and contact your doctor by telephone. You are not allowed to enter the house under these circumstances.

We hope that we have provided you with sufficient information. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call or email us! Our telephone number is 020-3050560 and you can email us at
