Project in preparatory phase

Foeliestraat 2-8 will see the realization of the Foelie project. A home in Foelie is a home at the heart of Amsterdam’s city center, close to Scheepvaartmuseum (Amsterdam’s Maritime Musueum). The four-level complex will be built in between the existing adjacent buildings.

Apartments

In Foelie, a total of six three-room apartments will be created on the first, second and third floors. The ground floor will accommodate the commercial space and bicycle parking facility. The apartments, vary in size from ca 65 m2 to ca 75 m2 and will all feature underfloor heating and with deep brown, nearly floor-to-ceiling windows. The apartments will be finished according to a design by Baden Baden Interior. This will include aged, greyed parquet flooring, a kitchen and luxury bathroom(s) with Hotbath fixtures.

Sustainability

This will truly be a stunning building, with deep brown, nearly floor-to-ceiling window frames. The front facade will be fitted with aluminum facade panels with brickwork and concrete elements. The foundation will implement the Groene Paal energy source system. In combination with the water pump, solar boilers, PV solar panels and the heat recovery systems, this will comprise an integral part of the sustainable concept of this project. The complex is completely gas-free and has an EPC of ca 0.4!

Timeline

The indicative completion date is late summer/ early autumn of 2019.
